Are we reaching Kelce overload?
It seems like we see Jason Kelce any time we turn on the TV these days. Since retiring from the Philadelphia Eagles in 2024 and signing a deal with ESPN, it’s hard to watch sports without Kelce popping up somewhere – like The Masters this week, where the former NFL center will be covering the golf tournament from Augusta National.
Of course the entire Kelce family is in the spotlight a lot more these days thanks to the relationship between Jason’s brother, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, and his fiancée Taylor Swift. Since the two started dating in 2023, their New Heights podcast has become one of the most-streamed sports podcasts in the world (despite the fact that a lot of those listeners probably aren’t sports fans), and TMZ is reporting on the family’s every move…like Donna Kelce’s recent home renovation:
Even Kylie Kelce, the wife of Jason Kelce, has parlayed all the attention on her family into a popular podcast.
Kelce now hosts the Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce podcast, and on a recent podcast she went off on the media and fans who are constantly questioning her and her family about the upcoming wedding between her brother-in-law and the pop superstar.
The profanity-laden rant came after TMZ caught up with Donna Kelce recently and asked her about her involvement in the wedding planning:
And apparently Kylie has had enough of the questions, as the couple has sought to keep their wedding plans secret:
“I just want to say to literally everybody, I know it usually comes from a good place, not always, but quit asking me and my mother-in-law about upcoming nuptials.
Nobody’s f—ing telling you anything. I don’t have any details. I don’t have any details. I don’t have any details.
I have no details. I have none. Look at that. That’s how many details I have. None. None. Stop f—ing asking me. Stop f—ing asking my mother-in-law. TMZ f—ing being creeps in the f—ing airport. Ew.”
Kelce made clear that she has no intention of revealing any information about the upcoming ceremony:
“Here’s the deal. Even if I did have any information, I’m not f—ing telling you. That’s private information if I had it. Private information between family. So A and B, see your way out. You see what I did there?
And while we’re talking about A and B and C and letters, TMZ: SMA. How about that?
For anyone who’s confused about that, suck my ass. Can we get a graphic? Suck my ass. How about that? Great. Perfect. I feel like we appropriately nailed that. …
I mean, you can keep at, here’s the deal. You know what? Keep f—ing asking. You know what my answer is going to be? I know nothing. Suck my ass. No, actually my answer, I’m done with the answer ‘I know nothing.’ My new answer, ‘Suck my ass.’ I’m going to get a headband with LED lights and it’s going to say, suck my ass. and I’m just gonna have a little button that’s gonna turn on the minute someone asks me about it, ‘Suck my ass, okay?'”
Seems clear enough.
And look, I get it. The couple clearly want to keep their wedding details out of the public eye, and it’s gotta be annoying to constantly have people prying for answers.
But many online didn’t take kindly to Kelce’s comments, pointing out that her brother-in-law’s relationship with Swift is the only reason Kelce has a podcast in the first place:
Taylor Swift is the only reason any of the Kelce podcasts got popular. Swifties, who would kill their own grandmothers for more TSwift content, tuned in hoping to snippets. Nobody else listens to them.

Yikes. Seems like we might quickly be reaching the point of Kelce oversaturation – but with the wedding coming up this summer, and then the (hopefully) long and happy marriage between Travis and Taylor, I have a feeling they’re not going away any time soon.
