The man never stops writing.
Though the dust has settled as of late, 2025 was undoubtedly a year full of controversy for Zach Bryan. Even ignoring all of the aftereffects of his messy, public breakup with Barstool’s Brianna Chickenfry from last year, Bryan managed to find himself in the crosshairs of plenty throughout 2025. Beyond stirring up criticism after telling a 14-year-old fan to “GOMD” (get off my d*ck) after failing to meet with fans after his second of three nights at MetLife Stadium in July, he’d also find himself at odds with both the White House and the DHS after teasing his highly-controversial song taking aim at ICE, “Bad News.” Of course, that’s not even mentioning the time he jumped a fence and tried to fight Gavin Adcock at Born & Raised Fest.
Thankfully for the “Something in the Orange” singer, 2026 has gotten off to a much better start. After announcing that he’s beginning his sobriety journey late in the year, he would get married to Samantha Sebastian on New Year’s Eve. Just two weeks later, he’d drop his long-awaited sixth studio album, With Heaven On Top, along with a full-length acoustic version of the record. Delivering another stellar effort, With Heaven On Top would debut #1 on the all-genre Billboard 200, selling 130,00 units in its first week and charting 18/25 songs on the Billboard Hot 100.
Despite dropping the massive album and embarking on his equally large, worldwide tour, With Heaven On Tour, Bryan has kept himself busy, seemingly dropping teasers for new songs every few days. Most notably, he dropped a full-length, acoustic version of a brand new track, “Pocket Change,” just five days after With Heaven On Top. Additionally, he teased a second collaboration with rising star, Gabriella Rose, seemingly titled “Carnival Ride.”
After performing for a packed crowd over the weekend in LSU’s Tiger Stadium, Bryan would return to TikTok to tease yet another brand new song, and it’s been catching fire. Since being posted on Monday, the video has already racked up over 1.3 million views, 210,000 likes, 1,800 comments and 18,000 saves.
You can say what you will about pretty much everything surrounding the Oklahoma native, whether its his politics, past relationships or controversies. With that being said, however, you simply cannot deny his writing prowess. Here on the unreleased track, which is seemingly titled “Tell Me Your Lies,” Bryan grapples with a toxic relationship (many will speculate it’s about Brianna Chickenfry, but I’m not even opening that can of worms), pleading with her to tell him her “sweet little lies.”
“Tell me you love me, that you’ll always want me
Say you’ll always love it when I talk this way
Tell me you’ll be there when I need you the most
You’ll hold me close when the night turns to day
Tell me your lies, babe, your sweet little lies
Fill my heart with sweetness with the words that you say
Been seeking the truth all of my youth
The truth means nothing when you look that way
So tell me your lies in this house that you built
Your shameless when it comes to your sex and your guilt
So tell me your lies”
As of now, “Tell Me Your Lies” has no release date.
