Garth Brooks’ Blame It All On My Roots Tour might be the hottest ticket of 2026… high demand keeps leading to the country music superstar adding more shows to already scheduled tour dates.
The country music star is currently gearing up to go back out on the road. After teasing a new album and new music earlier this year, the “Friends In Low Places” singer finally made the announcement official earlier this month. Through a release on his website, and in a couple of different social media posts, the country superstar told everyone that the “wait is over,” and happily shared that his Blame It All On My Roots Tour will get kicked off in August.
The first set of tickets that went on sale were for Indianapolis, Indiana, and there was so much demand for the two concert dates that were announced that Garth and his team added an additional two shows to the weekend. At one point, over 400,000 people were in the Ticketmaster queue when the tickets for the Indy shows went live:
“No one was prepared for this. Nearly 400,000 in the Ticketmaster queue!!! Your patience is so appreciated. This is crazy. THANK YOU.”
The exact same thing happened when Garth’s Denver tickets went on sale, so the country star is once again adding extra shows on top of what was already scheduled.
What’s driving the high demand? It’s likely a mixture of a) Garth being on tour for the first time in quite a while (his last run of shows were in 2024 at his Garth Brooks/Plus ONE Las Vegas residency) and b) the ticket pricing strategy that the “If Tomorrow Never Comes” singer rolled out.
Garth chose to make every single ticket that’s for sale – regardless of where it is in the arena – $155.25. When you break that down, it’s $140 for the ticket, and then $15.25 added on top of it in facility fees and service charges (plus taxes). In other words, whether it’s the front row or the nose bleeds, every single seat costs the same.
Though some were concerned about the pricing strategy, it’s clearly been effective thus far. So much so that Brooks is once again having to add on to what was originally scheduled for his tour. This time, he’s adding a matinee show and an evening show for Denver, Colorado:
“Denver!!! Over HALF A MILLION in the queue! THANK YOU for showing up like this! Because of your incredible response, Garth is adding another show, plenty of good seats…
You just keep showing up, so we’re gonna keep showing up too! Garth’s adding a FOURTH and final show!!!! Stay up late with us on Sunday! Monday’s a holiday!”
It’s like there’s not enough Garth to go around.
My guess is that, as he announces more tour dates, he’ll have no choice but to continue adding dates. For now, only tickets to his Indianapolis and Denver shows are available. If you are trying to secure some Garth Brooks tickets for yourself, all four nights in Indianapolis, and all three Denver dates are on sale now.
