Ella Langley Shares Stunning ‘Back Home Sessions’ Performance Of “Loving Life Again”

Transporting us to the land that made her love life again.

Ella Langley keeps striking gold, and her latest single, “Loving Life Again,” is another instant hit for the Alabama native. Of course, Langley is still riding the high of the success from “Choosin’ Texas,” which is now the longest-running number one hit on the Billboard Hot 100 by a female country artist EVER.

And while it’s hard to say that another single will follow in the footsteps of the success that “Choosin’ Texas” has reached, I feel like “Loving Life Again” will be another massive hit for Langley. Released last week as the final single before Langley gifts fans with her sophomore record, Dandelion, on April 10, she vulnerably shares with fans how she found herself during a dark time on the introspective track.

Before dropping the single, Langley was playing the song on the road and shared with fans that, when she stepped away from touring last year, she was inspired to write it, reflecting on the things that help her reconnect with her roots.

“This next song I’m about to play is on the record. It’s probably the…one of the most sentimental. I went through a time and a half last year. I took a couple of weeks off, and I got to refine myself. I got to have a lot of talks with the Lord, and I got to be re-grateful for all of the things that he’s given me. So on this song, it’s called ‘Loving Life Again.’”

Langley expanded on those thoughts in a personal video she shared with fans ahead of the song’s release, noting that, at a time when she should have been riding a high of all her dreams coming true, she found herself sad. Her choice to step away from touring was far from easy, but she knew she needed to reconnect with herself and find her spark again.

The cadence of the single falls right in line with that “Sunday afternoon” vibe that Langley hoped to set with this record. Penned alongside Ernest and Devin Dawson, the songwriting is profound yet simple, conveying a feeling everyone can relate to.

“Just like that, I’m back to loving life again
Dreaming dreams about back home riding on the wind
When I close my eyes, I find some peace in the back of my mind
In between them pines where I’m jumping on that quartеr horse, and then
Just like that, I’m back to loving lifе again…”

And now Langley is bringing the lyrics even more to life, taking her fans to rolling hills of green that inspired the tune for a ‘Back Home Sessions’ performance. Langley and her band are nestled in lush green pastures with horses roaming in the background as she sings the song about how much she loves her roots. The setting makes the lyrics pop brightly during this performance. But the setting has nothing on the vocal perfection that Langley delivers during the session. As Langley performs, you can tell how personal this song is to her, and she feels every word as she speaks it into the microphone.

Ella Langley is one hell of a performer, putting her heart and soul into everything she does. As a viewer, you can feel that strongly through the screen with this performance, and it proves why Langley is a force to be reckoned with.

Ella Langley is “Loving Life Again,” and she has all of her fans slowing down and smelling the roses with this heartfelt single. Turn it all the way up:
