Man, what a run it’s been for Team USA Hockey… I mean, have the boys even slept since Jack Hughes’ OT winner?
After the gold medal ceremony, the boys hit the town in Milan, where we saw the great Dylan Larkin carrying 1980 Miracle on Ice legend, Mike Eruzione, on his shoulders. Then the boys caught a flight to Miami, where the party continued at the well-known nightclub. The team drove a double decker tour bus through South Beach, had a top level dinner at COTE Korean Steakhouse, another popular Miami hotspot, and then posted up at E11EVEN for an unforgettable night of boozing, celebrating and singing along to some of America’s most patriotic anthems.
We saw the boys go full “Star Spangled Banner” at the club, and frankly, I think if we wanna fix this country, we need to start making this a regular occurrence. Imagine every single nightclub in America cranks up the national anthem at the stroke of midnight… every single night… stop whatever Diplo song is playing, put your hand on your heart, and take a second to to appreciate this beautiful country before you go back to sipping on $27 vodka cranberries and rubbing up on some strangers… can you imagine that what that would do for this country?
And you know they had their goal song, Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Free Bird” cranked up loud:
Lee Greenwood’s American classic, “God Bless The USA”:
But the real magical moment, Team USA’s JT Miller leading the entire Miami nightclub in a rousing rendition of Toby Keith’s “Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue.”
Can you feel that? That raging pulse of America pride bubbling up in your loins? I’m ready to run through a brick wall right now.
For the first time in 46 years, American Hockey is proudly wearing an Olympic gold medal around their necks, and it couldn’t have been a better group to get it done. These dudes love each other, they love hockey, and they love their country. USA Hockey GM, Bill Guerin, was adamant that he was building a complete hockey team the right way, full of the right guys… maybe not the best guys in the NHL, but the right guys, and he got a lot of heat for it. But damn if this crew isn’t one of the best I’ve ever seen… just good old fashioned, meat and potatoes hockey players, American-loving, sons of the Red, White and Blue.
And of course what should be an incredibly unifying moment for the country has been completely hijacked by the liberal brain rot crowd, who are so outraged that the team would have the audacity to take a congratulatory call from the President of the United States. So blinded by their own delusions and hate for their own country that they can’t even enjoy proud American moments… it’s sad really. I feel sad for these people. Thankfully, the boys couldn’t care less…
God bless Jack Hughes, God bless Team USA Hockey, and God bless America.
