‘Marshals’ Star Arielle Kebbel Says “A Number Of Country Stars” Could Appear On The Show

More than one, you say? We are so close to the premiere date of the new Kayce Dutton-focused series, Marshals, airing on CBS. It’s a continuation of his story beyond Yellowstone, and the new show starring Luke Grimes should provide fans with everything they want and more in terms of having him back on your screen for an action-packed show.

The synopsis of the show’s first season, which will consist of 13 episodes, seemingly finds Kayce Dutton getting back to his violent ways because of a devastating loss that he suffered. Just in case you haven’t seen any of the trailers… all signs are pointing towards Kayce Dutton joining the U.S. Marshals because he loses his wife, Monica (played by Kelsey Asbille), which many Yellowstone fans are probably happy about.

While it’s not a great start at upsetting Yellowstone fans, eagle-eyed viewers quickly found something else to fixate on. In the Season 1 trailer that has already been released, fans in the comments section of YouTube pointed out that it sure looks like Riley Green in a quick shot, where you see Kayce, along with several others, hanging out around a campfire while a man with a very familiar mustache plays guitar. He has a hat on, so you never actually see his eyes or full face, but considering he’s sitting there with a guitar, I’d say there’s a very high likelihood it’s Riley.

The first episode of the show will air on Sunday, March 1, on CBS, and there has been no announcement about whether Riley is in it. Still, it wouldn’t be all that surprising considering Riley has talked a lot recently about reading scripts and wanting to get into acting:

“We’ve actually kinda gone down that road a little bit. I’ve read for a couple of shows here lately. Not that I have a lot of time for it, but I think it is something that I would enjoy, and also something I think could help my music career.”

After Green said that he could see himself heading to the big screen, he used Lainey Wilson’s Yellowstone appearance as a prime example of how it helped the genre of country music as well as her own career.

“Doing ‘Yellowstone’ was a great launching pad for Lainey… and the country and western thing is becoming so popular through those shows that it’s really just such a great tie-in. I’m just glad that it’s helping out country music.”

But it appears that Riley Green might not be the only country music star we will see on our TV screens during Marshals Season 1. During a recent interview with CBS Mornings, Arielle Kebbel, who plays Belle Skinner, teased that there might be more than one familiar country star in the first season.

When asked to confirm if Riley Green appeared on the show, she cheekily responds:

“Riley Smeen? I’ve heard of him!”

While she does not confirm or deny that he will appear on the season, she teases that he is among the many country stars who might appear on the show.

“Well, I see him all the time on my Instagram. So I mean he’s just like… The cool thing about being in the ‘Yellowstone’ world is that we know Lainey Wilson. And in our local hangout, which you saw in that clip, is the bar, and that bar has a stage. So one of the really nice elements of our show is that throughout the season, we’re able to bring on a number of country stars. I think you’ll recognize all of them… So stay tuned.”

Oh, bring it on. As with many of Taylor Sheridan’s hit shows, he weaves country music and stars into the plotlines, so I hope this means we get a strong soundtrack alongside more country-music cameos.
