Tom Brady’s still got it.
No, I’m not implying that the 48-year-old is coming out of retirement (again) to play football. He’s probably played his last snap in the NFL. Tom keeps himself in great shape, but as he nears 50, he’s probably lost a step against some of the modern day football players.
That being said, he could still bury anyone he wanted to with some trash talk, and that was on full display during a recent episode of Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast.
Brady sat down with the content creator for a conversation, and at one point, the two got to talking about an upcoming flag football game that they are both going to be a part of. Logan Paul shared how he was excited to show off his athleticism when Tom told him to pump the brakes a bit:
“Yeah, you know what? I’m actually a little worried for you. You’re a good athlete, but these guys are on another level.”
The former WWE Champion took offense to that.
Paul immediately fired back at the NFL legend, saying that his athleticism (which is often showcased in a wrestling league) can match up with any football player that’s in the league:
“No, no, no, no, no. I am the highest level.”
How did Tom Brady respond to that?
Oh… just with a nasty, complete evisceration of Paul’s opinion of himself. It’s a good thing that Logan Paul was already sitting down, because Brady absolutely came after him with this response. Not even Paul’s added line of “I was an all-state linebacker” was enough to convince Tom that he could handle the physicality of football:
“That’s cute. You know, I love WWE. It’s very cute. But honestly, this is like real football. This is just real competition… let’s see if you can still bring it. I mean, look, we all had a great past, I won seven Super Bowls, who gives a s***. You know what matters? This game, March 21. I’m glad you’re going to be there and finally participate in a competition that matters.”
Oh man, you know the “that’s cute” cut Logan Paul like a knife.
And for that comment to come from Tom Brady… what are you supposed to do? Disagree with someone who has spent a majority of his life playing on a field with world-class athletes? Logan Paul might want to do that, but deep down he must know that Tom has a point.
And social media was pumped to see the 7-time Super Bowl winner put the influencer and wrestler in his place:

The cynic in me thinks this could have all been a set up. Logan might have told Tom to really go after him (for engagement purposes), and if he did, it’s certainly working.
Even Tom Brady got in on the social media discussion with his latest post:
“I hope people understand the level of competition this game is going to be. If you’re on my team you’re going to be locked in, all out, and we’re going to not just win… but dominate. I do think Logan Paul has the right attitude and the effort will be there. How far that gets him will remain to be seen.”
