Your 2026 inductee class is here.

Each year, many museums and archival exhibits induct famed musicians, producers, songwriters, and more into their halls, solidifying that they were/still are a part of making musical history. From the Country Music Hall of Fame to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, numerous museums host induction ceremonies like this, honoring musicians and others for their achievements. Most recently, Nashville’s Musicians Hall of Fame & Museum announced its list of 2026 inductees.

Located at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium, the nonprofit museum honors all great musicians, regardless of genre or instrument. Through their various exhibits, attendees can see the actual instruments used by some of their favorite artists, studio booths, and other recording-industry artifacts and memorabilia.

Since 2007, the museum has inducted a class of artists, session musicians, producers, and engineers, honoring their contributions to the music industry. Often, inductees span multiple genres and were involved in the creation of renowned recordings or music history moments.

“The Musicians Hall of Fame has inducted over 170 musicians, producers, engineers and industry icons. Each new class of inductees reminds us why we do what we do-preserving and celebrating the legacy of the musicians who bring songs to life. We couldn’t be more excited to welcome these legendary artists into the Musicians Hall of Fame.”

Linda Chambers, Co-Founder and CEO of the Musicians Hall of Fame & Museum, shared.

With past inductees including Garth Brooks, Jerry Reed, Ricky Staggs, Vince Gill, Marty Stuart, and more, being asked to be a part of an annual induction class is a high honor.

Recently, the Musicians Hall of Fame & Museum announced its 2026 induction class, and it’s nothing short of outstanding. The 2026 inductees are Dann Huff, Dolly Parton, George Thorogood & The Destroyers, John Boylan, Keith Urban, Leland Sklar, Michael McDonald and Nicky Hopkins (posthumously).

Of course, we all know that Dolly Parton and Keith Urban are outstanding artists in country music, and their contributions to the industry are well known. But this list includes some other stellar talent that is beyond deserving of recognition.

Dann Huff, a prolific producer, has over 370 charted country hits and is known for producing songs for Faith Hill, Keith Urban, Taylor Swift, and Carrie Underwood. George Thorogood & The Destroyers are a renowned blues/rock band that blends Chicago-style blues with rock and roll to create music that is instantly hypnotizing. The band has released more than 20 albums since its founding in 1973 and has made its mark on the industry. Nicky Hopkins is also a notable inductee. The English pianist and organist is featured on numerous renowned recordings from the 1960s through the 1990s, until he died in 1994 at age 50. Hopkins played on songs recorded by The Beatles, the Rolling Stones, the Kinks, and others.

Of course, that builds on the contributions of a few of the other inductees on this list.

This year’s induction ceremony will take place on April 28 at the Fisher Center for Performing Arts. More details surrounding the event, along with a list of performers, will be announced at a later date. Tickets for the event will go on sale on Tuesday, February 10.
