Won’t want to miss this one.

In an era filled with some of the most talented female artists in the genre, ranging from Ella Langley and Lainey Wilson dominating the mainstream to the likes of Kaitlin Butts, Carter Faith, Maggie Antone and more turning heads in the alternative country scene, Sierra Ferrell has remained one of the best of the best of the decade.

2025, in particular, was a huge year for the “Lighthouse” singer. Riding the highs of her brilliant 2024 album, Trail of Flowers, Ferrell swept her categories at the 67th Grammy Awards, taking home four trophies for Best Americana Album (Trail of Flowers), Best Americana Performance (“American Dreaming”), Best American Roots Song (“American Dreaming”) and Best American Roots Performance (“Lighthouse”).

She’d follow that up in September by taking home her second-straight Artist of the Year trophy at the Americana Awards, becoming just the third artist and first female artist ever to win in back-to-back years

This year, she’s trying to follow up her huge 2025 in a big way. Though we haven’t gotten any information surrounding a new album, today, she’s officially announced her massive, 34-show Heavy Petal Tour, which will run from May to October.

The Heavy Petal Tour will kick off on May 30th in Portland, Oregon, at McMenamins Edgefield before wrapping up with two nights opening up for The Red Clay Strays at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. Along the way, the “Dreams” singer will hit the likes of Chicago, Pittsburgh, Birmingham, Portland, Columbus and more here in the states.

Additionally, Ferrell will be touring extensively in Europe throughout the tour in June and July, performing in the United Kingdom, France, the Netherlands, Germany and Denmark, before returning to the U.S. from August to October.

Signups for presale are live now and will officially go on sale Tuesday, February 10th at 10 a.m. local. General sale, on the other hand, will begin on Tuesday, February 12th at 10 a.m. local.

In partnership with PLUS1, Ferrell will be donating $1 for every ticket sold to support the National Immigration Law Center in their attempt to support and defend the rights of low-income immigrants and their families in North America.

Beyond her incredible music output that flawlessly blends elements of country, folk, bluegrass, Americana and even jazz, her crossover into the mainstream has pushed both her and the genre into the public eye. In addition to her success at the Grammys, she’s notably appeared on a plethora of different mainstream artist’s albums, including Zach Bryan’s 2023 self-titled album on “Holy Roller,” Post Malone’s F-1 Trillion on “Never Love You Again” and even on Shaboozey’s Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going on “Hail Mary.” If Ferrell is in a city near you, you won’t want to miss her.
