Took long enough…
Morgan Wallen’s 2026 Still The Problem Tour wrapped up earlier this month, and there were quite a few major controversies. From piano-flipping in Denver to hurling a fan’s phone off stage in Pittsburgh, the “Whiskey Glasses” singer was making headline after headline throughout the summer.
With that being said, however, the most insane and ultimately disgusting headline to come out of one of Wallen’s shows had nothing to do with him, but instead a fan who attended his concert at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland, on July 18th.
In case you missed it, let me catch you up to speed.
Shortly after the concert wrapped up, TMZ reported that a man allegedly peed all over a family the night 2 show, which was under investigation by local police.
Troy Grevelding told TMZ that he was there for night 2 with his wife, brother and 8-year-old niece, and at some point doing the show, he just started urinating on them. Troy and his family, as well as another group nearby, felt it streaming down their legs.
Troy told the outlet that he and his wife could feel it running down their legs, and when he turned around, he saw that they were being peed on. Stadium security escorted the man out, but when a Maryland State Police trooper responded as well, he told them that cops couldn’t arrest the man because he hadn’t witnessed the incident himself.

“This is assault, this guy literally just pulled out his privates, urinated all over a ton of people, we all witnessed, we all seen it. They do nothing.”
Eventually, Troy told TMZ that a Maryland Transportation Authority Police detective found the man outside of the stadium and detained him. They also obtained a video of Troy speaking with officers about what happened and how to pursue further charges, and MDTA Police is now investigating the incident.
Troy says he thinks the man was drunk, and wasn’t supposed to even be in the seats behind him. He had been bothering people around him all night by talking loudly on the phone and bumping into people — just generally be annoying. But, obviously, nothing compares to him peeing on fans in front of him, it’s just beyond disgusting. There are no words, really.
Though the MDTA Police told TMZ that they were aware of the incident and opened an active criminal investigation, there hadn’t been too many updates on the case.
Nearly a month later, we finally have a verdict for the offender.
According to MDTA Police, they have identified the suspect as 33-year-old Jayson Reed, who they obtained an arrest warrant for. In turn, Reed is being charged with four counts of second-degree assault, public urination, and other related offenses and is currently being held in North Carolina pending extradition to Maryland.
Given the fact that the identification and further arrest for his disgusting crime took so long, locals in the MDTA Police Department’s Facebook were not happy, claiming the department had no intention of pursuing the case until the story went viral online.

“I think it’s great the state decided to charge him. Unfortunately if this didn’t get the traction it did on the news and social media I don’t think anything would have been done. They should have arrested him on the spot! The State of Maryland and The Maryland Transportation Authority needs to do better!”
“You only did something after being publicly and nationally shamed. Disgraceful that you have to be shamed into DOING YOUR JOBS. Obviously you could have arrested the suspect as you stated that you broke up a fight in progress. That is literally witnessing an assault.”
