Well this is a little bit concerning.
Jacksonville Jaguars fans are likely screaming “DUUUUUVALLL” today after their team clinched the AFC South for the just the third time in the last 26 seasons. It was a huge turnaround for first year head coach Liam Coen, who took over a team that won just four games last year and turned them into a legitimate, 13-4 force.
They secured the No. 3 seed in the NFL playoffs, and will host the No. 6 seed Buffalo Bills in the Wild Card Round. Not the best draw Duval County could have gotten, but after last year, I’m sure they are just happy to be in the playoffs.
And they aren’t just in the playoffs as some sort of underdog team. They’ve looked dominant, and at some points, the best team in football. Much of that is thanks to some incredible quarterback play from their long-haired face of the franchise: Trevor Lawrence. He’s put all of that bust talk to rest in the last couple of months, and Lawrence is leading a red-hot Jacksonville team into the playoffs with a Lombardi Trophy on their minds.
All Trevor really has to do is keep up what he’s been doing, and make sure that he doesn’t suffer any zany, non-football injuries in the next couple of weeks.
What do I mean by that? Well, what I said there might sound oddly specific, but just hours after clinching the division, it appears that Trevor Lawrence may have put himself in harm’s way for absolutely no reason at all. A TikTok user shared a video that’s really got Jags fans holding their breath, and for good reason.
Their franchise quarterback is apparently just letting random stranger try to squat him:
“When you run into Trevor Lawrence (the QB for the Jags) at a bar and ask to squat him.”

I truly can’t believe that it’s real…
In this day and age, I thought I had been fooled by AI for a second. But no… it appears as though Trevor Lawrence went out on the town at some point this season, and let a stranger treat him like a squat rack. My hunch, given that it was his daughter’s birthday yesterday, is that this video is definitely not from yesterday, but regardless, Jacksonville Jaguars fans were kind of freaking out.
“You had all of Jacksonville’s hopes and dreams on your shoulders.”
“Jaguars GM watching this like, ‘Hold up.'”
“Jags watching this video knowing one fall could f*** up their playoff chances.”
“There’s an agent somewhere saying, ‘We need to add not allowing people to squat you as a rider in a contract’ after this video.”
“Please don’t drop my prince.”
“Bro, why would he let her do that?”
“That’s a $50 million man right there. His agent has to be stressing.”
“Is this not insane? Didn’t he just clinch the division?”
Yes, he and the Jags did.
