Hitting the road.
After a long two years between albums, Colter Wall is officially back (and arguably better than ever). If you recall, 2025 seemingly got off to a rocky start for Wall as he cancelled his February and March shows to October due to “personal reasons” regarding his mental and physical health. With that being said, however, the Canadian singer/songwriter is clearly doing better and is back to kick off the latest chapter of his career with the release of his sixth studio album, Memories and Empties, which releases in just TWO days.
We’ve already gotten a taste for what the album has to offer with the release of the biting critique of Nashville on the lead single, “1,800 Miles,” as well as “Back to Me” and “The Longer You Hold On.” Of course, all three of these tracks are nothing short of phenomenal and are ultimately exactly what you’d expect from an artist of Wall’s caliber.
With the anticipation growing for the release of the brand new record on Friday, minutes ago, the Canadian outlaw has decided to pull the trigger and announce his set of 2026 winter shows on the brand new Memories and Empties Tour.
Interestingly, the Memories & Empties Tour is ultimately a combination of his previously-announced set of shows in Texas in January originally titled, Hardcore Country Tunes, and a collection of brand new dates across the country in February and March. What this means is that the entire month of January will consist of back-to-back nights in Austin, Houston, Fort Worth and two nights at an undetermined city in Texas on the 18th and 19th.
Once February and March comes, the “Sleeping on the Blacktop” singer will be further branching out to other states across the country, hitting the likes of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Detroit, Michigan, St. Louis, Missouri, Oakland, California, Indianapolis, Indiana and more throughout the tour.
For openers, Wall will call on both Hayden Redwine and Kade Hoffmann as the tour’s lone support. Redwine will open the first half of the tour from January and February while Hoffmann will take over for the final stretch in March.
Signups for the presale code are live on Wall’s site right now with presale beginning next Tuesday, November 18th at 10 a.m. local time.
Though he might not be as flashy as his contemporaries, quite the opposite actually, there’s absolutely no denying that Wall puts on one hell of a live show. With Memories & Empties releasing on Friday, I’d expect a fantastic mix of his old hits, fan-favorite deep cuts and, of course, a healthy dose of brand new tracks. Simply put, if you haven’t seen Colter Wall yet, now’s the perfect time to.
