Gearing up for another massive tour in 2026.
This morning, Morgan Wallen officially announced his Still The Problem tour, which will hit stadiums across America next year starting in April in Minneapolis, Minnesota at U.S. Bank Stadium, and runs through August ending in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania ending at Lincoln Financial Field.
Morgan is bringing along a stacked group of rotating openers, including Brooks & Dunn, HARDY, Ella Langley and Thomas Rhett, as well as Gavin Adcock, Flatland Cavalry and Hudson Westbrook, Jason Scott & The High Heat, Zach John King, Vincent Mason and Blake Whiten.
I’m sure it will be another massive success, similar to the sold-out I’m The Problem stadium tour he was on this past summer, and he’s managed to seemingly stay out of trouble on the road too, which is a good thing, especially considering all the trouble he was in following the infamous chair-throwing incident at Chief’s. Over the last month or so, more of that police body cam footage has come out, and I’ll be really honest, it’s pretty funny.
It’s only funny because no one got hurt, obviously, and Morgan’s lucky it didn’t end much worse, and it sounds like he’s spent a lot of time reflecting on his past choices, which I’m sure includes the legal trouble from the chair-throwing but also plenty of other things we’ve seen in the headlines over the last several years.
In the announcement video for the tour which he shared on his social media channels, Morgan explained that over the last year specifically, he’s gone through a growth period, and admits that he’s let go of “a lot of things holding me back.”
He says he’s “proud of the results that have come” from doing that:
“I like to think that over the past year, I have grown a ton. For a long time, I had a lot of things holding me back, and I feel like I said bye to a lot of those things. I’m proud of the results that have come from doing that.”
Morgan has never really made a ton of public statements about any of his public incidents, other than a few formal press release statements here and there, so it’s an interesting, much more intimate look into Morgan’s life than what fans usually get, even if it was only two sentences for a tour announcement…
It sounds like he’s been digging deep since his 2024 arrest and trying to learn and grow from that, and hopefully that will continue as his star only continues to rise with every album and tour.
