A new record from HARDY is on the way, and it’s coming soon.
Today, the “Wait In The Truck” singer announced his next studio project, COUNTRY! COUNTRY!, which is slated for a September 26th release date.
Off the heels of his critically acclaimed 2024 album release QUIT!!, which features head-banging rock-centered sounds, HARDY found himself missing the roots of country music. After the release of QUIT!!, Hardy and his good buddies got in the studio to work on and finalize the third volume of Hixtape, leaving the Mississippi native eager to dive back into the country sound that launched his career.
COUNTRY! COUNTRY! dives back into the Mississippi mud, celebrating the roots that raised HARDY. We saw earlier this year that HARDY was returning to a more traditional country sound (of course, still with his signature southern rock flair) on his EP, COUNTRY!, which features the deeply personal track “Buck On The Wall,” inspired by hunting with his late grandfather.
To give fans a taste of what to expect on the record, HARDY is releasing a new single this Friday, August 1st, titled “Bottomland.” The track’s name is inspired by the name of the camouflage pattern that HARDY favors wearing, and the tune serves as a commentary on the state of country music as a whole.
Suppose you like the sound that HARDY established in the COUNTRY! EP, this record sounds like it will be up your alley.
I can’t wait to hear “Bottomland” on Friday and what the rest of COUNTRY! COUNTRY! has in store, but in the meantime, fire up “Buck On The Wall” before you go.
