Sounds like night one didn’t go too well?
Morgan Wallen played two nights at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona this weekend, which included a great moment where he joked about the viral story of tech CEO Andy Byron and his HR lady (allegedly) getting caught cheating on the jumbotron during a Coldplay concert:
“Anybody in here with their side chick or whatever. I think you’re safe here. I don’t condone cheating… anymore.”

He also brought out David Spade, better know as Joe Dirt, to do the walkout with him last night:
But later in the show yesterday, Morgan threw some shade at the night one Arizona crowd, telling them:
“I didn’t know if I was ever gonna come back to Arizona after that crowd last night. But I think tonight you guys might change my mind.”
That’s all he really said about it, and so far I haven’t seen any wild viral videos showing something crazy going on in the audience, but you rarely hear artists make comments like this about their fans, or to their fans, so I’d love to know the tea because something clearly didn’t sit well with him.
It does seem pretty out of character for Morgan, and you can watch the clip here:

Some in the comments section said there were several fights down in the pit, and people continually threw stuff onstage at him, while others said they were close to the stage said the didn’t notice anything out of the ordinary:
“The security in my section tonight said it was SO BAD night one in our section. Multiple fights and people throwing up.”
“Night One in AZ so Friday night was a mess apparently. People were unhinged.”
“It’s just sad that Arizona gets written off as a whole. I was there and everyone sat around me on the floor was from out of state.”
“I was in the pit for night 1 and didn’t see anything!! I thought it was a good night. Makes sense why he didn’t come out after the show to sign anything!”
“I heard there was a lot of fights…”
“I saw another girl post a video that said people were throwing stuff on stage while he was performing, and what she heard was someone grabbed him. Multiple people said the first night was so bad.”
“I was there night one and I must have missed it.”
“Imagine how us loyal fans felt that have wanted to see him perform for years and finally got to just for others to be horrible and disrespectful not just to him and his band, but to us fans. And then to hear this? Just embarrassing and sad.”

“2 years ago we didn’t have AC in the stadium when he played.”

“You know what, I was sad seeing this but I paid a lot of money to see him in concert. My family and I had a great time. I literally said this morning I would see him again. That is super sad that he is not a fan of AZ. Crazy!”

Who knows, it could’ve been anything, but you hate to hear it… it sounds like night two went much better, though, and I’m sure Morgan will eventually make it back to Arizona for another show.
