Fan Who Filmed Cheating Tech CEO Says She “Feels Bad,” But Hopes Viral Concert Video Is A “Blessing In Disguise”

It really is the families who are suffering through all of this.

I’m sure that by now you’ve heard the news that Astronomer CEO Andy Byron was caught red-handed (allegedly) cheating on his spouse at a Coldplay concert. The story – albeit a very personal one at the root of things – has captured the intention of the social media world. Everyone wants to know more about the tech CEO and his alleged affair with his company’s human resources chief Kristin Cabot.

If you haven’t seen the video already, the viral clips shows the jumbotron camera operator honing in on Byron and his work subordinate cuddled up at the concert. They quickly separated and tried to hide their faces, but the damage was already done. As you know, social media is forever, and one person just so happened to be recording the jumbotron when it all went down.

Coldplay frontman Chris Martin narrated what was unfolding in real time, and seemingly figured out what was happening in a matter of seconds:

“Oh look at these two. Oh come on, you’re okay. What? Either they’re having an affair, or they’re just very shy.”

Absolutely brutal… of course, the video has gone mega viral on social media, and a new angle of the viral moment revealed what happened immediately after the camera switched away from the tech CEO and his HR officer.

This footage shows Chris Martin with a guitar in hand looking at the large screen in the football stadium, and after provided the “having an affair” commentary, the 48-year-old singer wasn’t confident about how to handle the rest of the jumbotron segment… of course, I think it’s safe to say he was completely joking about the affair, and immediately realized he might’ve actually just exposed them:

“I’m not quite sure what to do… Oh s**t, I hope we didn’t do something bad. Alright, okay.”

But we had yet to hear from the fan who posted the video, which now has over 62 million views on TikTok, and her name is Grace Springer, a 28-year-old from New Jersey.

She was just there having fun at the concert in Boston, and exclusively told The U.S. Sun she had “no idea” who the couple was, and part of her “feels bad” for turning their lives upside down… but ultimately, she, says, the deserve it, because if you “play stupid games… [you] win stupid prizes.”:

“I had no idea who the couple was. Just thought I caught an interesting reaction to the kiss cam and decided to post it. A part of me feels bad for turning these people’s lives upside down, but, play stupid games… win stupid prizes.”

Grace added that she hopes the hurt parties in this case, the partners and families, can find healing after what has obviously become a horrific scenario:

“I hope their partners can heal from this and get a second chance at the happiness they deserve with their future still in front of them. I hope, for them, my video was a blessing in disguise.”

Grace also explained that the strange interaction was “a hot topic,” but obviously, no one knew who they were yet and the video had yet to go viral. When she went to bed, it had a couple thousand views, and when she woke up the next morning, it was in the millions (now over 60 million):

“It was definitely a hot topic, but no one knew who they were. When I posted late last night before bed it was picking up traction with a couple thousand views. I woke up to seven million. Now over 30 million. Overwhelmed to say the least.”

I can understand how she feels bad for exposing them because of the collateral damage to the families who had to not only find out about the affair this way, but see it, quite literally, all over the internet. who I don’t think anyone feels bad for is the two cheaters who were caught.

This morning, Springer was pleading with Andy not to “sue” her over the whole ordeal:

“Hey Andy, pls don’t sue me.”

While I’m sure he’s thought about it, I think Andy needs to be worried about what’s going on at home before he even thinks about anything else… that divorce isn’t gonna be cheap.

@instaagraacehey andy, pls don’t sue me 🫶🏼♬ original sound – Ellies discord kitten
