Well this isn’t going to do anything to quiet the rumors.
Riley Green is country music’s biggest heartthrob right now, driving the women crazy not just because he looks like he stepped straight out of GQ Magazine but also with steamy songs like “Worst Way” that have women ready to leave their husbands if the opportunity presented itself.

Over the past few months, the internet has gone wild with speculation on Riley’s dating life, with many theorizing that he’s dating his “You Look Like You Love Me” collaborator Ella Langley.
Both parties have separately said that they’re “just friends,” and Riley has talked about how people want to think they’re together just because it makes the song more fun. But the two are back out on tour together, and videos from their shows still have fans convinced that the two are a couple.

“They’re so cute together.”
“There’s definitely chemistry between them!”
“She’s so pretty and he’s so gorgeous!”
And recently, Riley even changed the lyrics while performing “You Look Like You Love Me” to more accurately describe Ella. The verse originally mentioned a girl who was the “prettiest thing I’d ever seen in a pair of boots.” But Riley customized the song for his duet partner:
“Well, I was down at a local beer joint with a few of the guysWhen this cute little country girl caught my eyeAnd boy, let me tell you, she was the prettiest thing I’d ever seen with bangs and boots.”
Kinda feels like he’s just messing with people at this point.
But with all the speculation about a romance between the two, a video that went viral recently has some fans thinking they’ve finally got proof that the two superstars are in fact an item.
In the TikTok showing Riley leave the stage, he walks back behind the screen where he leaned in towards…well, somebody. And immediately the rumors began flying that he was leaning in to sneak a kiss with Ella:

Some fans were convinced that it was proof of a romance:
“This is grade A detective work regardless… be proud of yourself”
“I love and hate this all at the same time.”
“I’m afraid I wished it were me”
But others aren’t so sure, with many pointing out that as a true southern gentleman, Riley would have taken off his cowboy hat if he were going in for a kiss:
“The cowboy hat wasn’t removed this man didn’t kiss her”
“I was on that side of the stage & they definitely didn’t”
“His hat didn’t come off his head no kiss”
“It was a side hug. Ask me how I know”
“That’s a good job hug & kiss”
For the record, I don’t think it was a kiss (and to be fair, we can’t even be sure from the video that it was Ella). But it looked more like a “good job” hug after a show, so I’m not sure this really proves anything – which I guess is good news for the ladies still holding out hope?
