“Not Beating The Father/Son Allegations” – Zach Top Fans Resurface Conspiracy Theory After He Shares Alan Jackson Photo

Looks like they could be related to me.

Zach Top is reviving the viral conspiracy theory that his father is Alan Jackson with his latest Instagram post.

Last year, Zach Top went viral after a Canadian radio station host shared a conspiracy theory that Alan Jackson was Zach Top’s father. While it’s unlikely to be true, it’s not the craziest conspiracy theory I’ve ever heard.

This radio host presented facts, a timeline, and other evidence to support the theory.

“You guys, Zach Top was born September 6th, 1997, in Sunnyside, Washington, USA. If you go back nine months from his birth date to the winter of 1996. In November of 1996, Alan Jackson played at the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington!

Have you seen Zach Top’s face? His mustache? His sound? Zach Top is Alan Jackson’s son. Prove me wrong.”

And he has yet to be proven wrong. Fans saw this theory and ran with it. Given the ’90s sound that Top has is reminiscent of Alan Jackson’s, country music lovers felt that maybe his talent was inherited from his “father.”

Quickly after the conspiracy theory took off, someone changed Zach Top’s Wikipedia page to say that Alan Jackson is his father.

“Zach Top was born on September 26, 1997, and grew up on his father Alan Jackson’s ranch in Sunnyside, Washington. He got his musical start performing as part of a bluegrass band with his siblings called Top String.”

Top did not help the rumors either, leaning into the moment before gearing up to hit the road with Jackson as the opener for his Last Call: One More For The Road, final tour. Before his first show with Jackson in Fort Worth, he was asked if there was any truth to this theory, to which Top jokingly responded:

“It’s more than a rumor. Hell, I’ve been trying to figure out what the answer is. My parents won’t answer me straight, and nobody will. I think the only way I’m going to get a straight answer is in Fort Worth when I finally meet him when we do that first show here in a few weeks. Just gonna go up and say, ‘Hi Daddy, I missed you.’

And we’ll see how he reacts, and I’ll know whether it’s true or not.”

While many of us, including me, hoped that Zach Top and Alan Jackson might do something to acknowledge this theory during that show, they kept it strictly business, both putting on stellar performances. However, as Top gears up to join Jackson again as the opening act, the two shared a photo together, reigniting the flame on this theory.

“Excited to be back out on the road this weekend with the man Alan Jackson!”

The two men are standing next to each other, and I’m not saying I believe this theory, but they look pretty similar. Maybe it’s the hats…

Related or not, fans are loving this image of the living legend and man resurging the ’90s sound. Check out some of the comments left on the post:
