Living his best retired live.
Over the weekend, legendary NFL quarterback Tom Brady was seen rocking out and dancing at Coachella during Travis Scott’s set, which he attended with his oldest son Jack.
In a now-viral video on TikTok, Brady was seen standing near the front of the stage in Indio, California with other fans in the VIP section while Scott performed “Topia Twins,” and it’s certainly not the more reserved, stoic Brady we were used to seeing in New England… retired Tom is kind of a vibe.
While he stays busy as a color commentator with FOX Sports during the NFL season, it looks like he’s letting loose during the offseason and even though he’s probably a good bit older than most of the Coachella crowd, that didn’t seem to stop him from enjoying the whole experience.
I’m sure part of his reason for being there was to chaperon his son, but if your dad is Tom Brady, that’s actually kinda cool… and he seemed to think it was funny that a fan caught his dancing on video and even though he may be sorta awkward, it’s cool? Also, since when did we start making fun of people for bobbing along to the music? Seems like a pretty normal response to hearing music at a festival, no? I guess if you’re the GOAT you’re gonna garner some critics no matter what you do.
@mvp_brian1 No way the GOAT was right in front of me during Travis Scott’s set !!!! #tombrady #nfl #traviscott #cactusjack #coachella #fyp ♬ original sound – Mvp_brian1
Fans in the comments seemed to love seeing this side of Brady, with some pointing out how funny it was that he was even there to begin with, and others noticing that he might be way more chill than we thought or knew during his years being very rigid and methodical as an NFL star:
“Bro vibing.”
“Being 50 years old at Coachella is wild.”
“Tom said solochella.”
“Man living his best life.”
“Tom is living his best life!”
“He wants to rage so bad.”
“Tom lowkey seem like a chill guy.”
“TOM BRADY IN THE STREETS!!”
“Tom lowkey a big Travis fan.”
“Just casually standing next to Tom Brady, and not even realizing it.”
“Tom, what are you doing here?”
“Old guy at the club vibe?”
“You know what? Hell yea.”
“TB12 whatre you doingggg here!!!”
“Why does it look like he was never allowed out before?”
“Honestly, how would I expect him to groove.”
“Not him being on beat. Ok, Brady!”
“He’s always been that guy.”
Honestly, this makes me like him a whole lot more… maybe Tom really is human after all.
