MSNBC Host Nicolle Wallace Under Fire For Disgusting Suicide Comment About The 13-Year-Old Cancer Survivor Honored By Donald Trump

Can’t go one second without politicizing something can we? Even a kid with terminal cancer? No, just couldn’t do it…

Of course, President Donald Trump made a joint address to Congress last night, and by in large, it went over pretty well. The Democrats of Congress sulked in their chairs, refused to stand or clap for anything, and many even held up ridiculous signs with messages on them. One of my favorite parts was when Trump called out the Democrats for wanting to drag the war in Ukraine on even longer, and Elizabeth Warren started clapping.

“You want to keep it going another 5 years? Yeah, Pocahontas says yes.”

I guess trying to stop the bloodshed in Ukraine and therefore, stopping the flow of money from the military industrial complex into their pockets is gonna be a problem for them. He’s stopping the money these Democrat war hawks (funny how times have changed) would make on their defense contractor stocks if we continue to drag this out as long as possible at the expense of Russian and Ukrainian lives… and they’re just so mad about it. What a time to be alive. I digress…

Anyways, Trump talked the border, tariffs, crime, boys competing in girl’s sports… a whole number of issue that he ran on, and won in a landslide victory on. But there were also some emotional moments where he opted to shine a spotlight on a number of patriots and American citizens who deserved it. He honored the memories of both Laken Riley and Jocelyn Nungaray, the 22 and 12 year old girls who were tragically killed by illegal immigrant gang members from Venezuela. He honored Payton McNabb, a former high school girls volleyball player who was severely injured by a biologically male student playing girl’s volleyball. McNabb suffered a concussion, brain bleed and permanent whiplash, and she still deals with partial paralysis and vision problems.

And then Trump honored 13 year old Devarjaye “DJ” Daniel, who wanted to be a police officer until he was diagnosed with terminal cancer in 2018. Over 6 years ago, when he got the initial diagnosis, he was only given 5 months to live. But last night, he was made an honorary member of the United States Secret Service.

It was a sweet moment, and while DJ still has a long battle to go with the brain cancer, it’s an incredible testament to his resiliency and fight to hear the Republicans in the House chamber chanting his name.

Who would really have a problem with that? You guess it… MSNBC.

Rachel Maddow called it disgusting to honor this poor kid who is surviving terminal brain cancer:

“For the record—and this is disgusting—the President made a spectacle out of praising a young man who thus far survived pediatric cancer, as if the President had something to do with that.”

I don’t recall Donald Trump taking credit for it at all… seems like it was a nice gesture to a kid who has had a tough go lately. One that no child should have to endure.

But Nicolle Wallace was probably the most unhinged. She, perhaps in a moment of weakness, confessed that she actually felt good watching DJ get his honorary Secret Service badge, although, she sounded like she had to work really hard to “let herself feel” some common human decency. But after that fuzzy feeling went away, she launched into this sinister diatribe about how she hopes a 13 year old who has miraculously survived cancer for the past 6 years never dies of suicide if he actually becomes a police officer some day.

Utterly disturbing:

“I think this was a lesson in finding one thing that you left yourself feel. And I let myself eel joy about DJ, and I hope he’s alive for another 95 years, and he wants to be a cop, he knows what he wants to do and maybe when you have childhood cancer, that crystalizes for you. And I hope he has a long life as a law enforcement officer.

But I hope he never has to defend the United States Capitol against Donald Trump’s supporters. And if he does, I hope he isn’t one of the six who loses his life to suicide. And I hope he isn’t one who has to testify against the people who carried out acts of seditious conspiracy and then live to see Donald Trump pardon those people.”

What’s wrong with people… how is this journalism or news? It’s sick.

A number of people, including other journalists and even politicians, have called for her firing.
