Zach Top Delivers A Case Of Coors To Fans Waiting For Doors To Open Ahead Of Chattanooga Show

This kid is truly for the people and knows the importance of keeping his fans happy. The “Sounds Like The Radio” singer is in the thick of his Cold Beer & Country Music tour, just wrapping up a two-night go at Chattanooga’s The Signal.

Both sold-out shows were packed to the brim with screaming fans. Given that The Signal is not a seated venue, fans showed up hours before doors opened to ensure they got a prime view of the mustached man on stage. Given that some fans had lined up for a long, and we mean long, waiting period before being able to get into the venue, Zach Top decided to surprise his fans waiting outside of the doors.

ZT walked outside the venue and delivered something special to the small group of fans who had congregated outside the doors. He dropped off what some might deem the most important game of sitting and waiting: a pack of ice-cold beer.

Top walked out in his Crocs and sweats, shocking fans as he pushed the doors open. The crowd began clapping and making sounds of awe that he was that close to them, and hours before, they had expected to see him on the other side of the guard rail.

Zach Top waved to the crowd and dropped off the goods before heading back inside to continue preparing for the concert.

To be honest, I don’t think many of the folks even realized that he set down a case of Coors Banquet at the front of the line. At the end, you can hear one woman yell, “Thank you!” at him for the goods, but most of the crowd was shocked to see the Washington native in front of them.

I can’t blame them for this reaction one bit. I’d be starstruck, too, if Zach Top sauntered out of the venue like he’s your average Joe.

Zach Top is out here making his Cold Beer & Country Music tour have literal meaning… I bet a cold snack made the wait go by much quicker.

Zach Top Continues To Show Up For His Fans

Zach Top has been on a random acts of kindness kick these days. After performing his whole show in Mississippi, he refunded the crowd as it was not the show he wanted to put on.

“We’re gonna get it sorted out, and we’re gonna get you your money back for tonight’s show, because this is not the kind of show I want to put on. But we’re gonna be back before you know it, and we’re gonna put you on a real show. We just got a couple songs left for you tonight, thank you so much for coming out here, and for making us feel like a million dollars.”

The crowd erupted in applause, either in shock that he was announcing this or because they appreciated him for toughing out the entire show despite feeling under the weather.

He later said:

“It blows my mind every night, this is all I ever wanted to do ever since I was a little kid. And y’all are the reason I get to do this. So when I can’t do that to the 100% of my ability, it ain’t good enough for me. So, we’re gonna get you all your money back for tonight’s show.”

Zach Top has been well on his way to becoming a star for this nostalgic ’90s country sound, but he’s becoming even more of a fan favorite in country music because he carries himself and values his fans.

This is a man who cares about much more than the music, and that’s how you create a lasting career.
