Maybe don’t throw your bra at the man madly in love with his wife?
The trend of throwing undergarments on stage to artists is… something. While I find humor in some moments, like Morgan Wallen getting hit in the face with a pair of panties and immediately throwing them back into the crowd, for some reason, it feels inappropriate for other artists.
During a Cody Johnson concert earlier this year, one brave fan decided to unstrap her bra, shimmy it out of her shirt, and throw it on stage to the “C’mon Cowgirl” singer.
As soon as the bra hit the stage, I am sure “C’mon Cowgirl” was running through Cody Johnson’s mind but said with the tone of a disapproving father.
At Vibrant Arena in Moline, IL, Johnson was performing his hit “Diamond In My Pocket” when a Victoria’s Secret PINK bra went flying onto the stage. Johnson impressively caught it while holding a long note of the bridge before diving into the final chorus. The bra, impressively, did not throw Johnson off his game (the sign of a true performer), letting the bra dangle on his finger… playing it up for the crowd.
After finishing the note, Johnson looks at the bra with a mild sense of “really?” before walking it to the side of the stage to hand it to a member of his crew. He lets out a wily grin, and without missing a beat, he then electrically jumps back into the final chorus of the tune.

The creator of the video thought the moment was hilarious, captioning the moment:
“Must be a double D.”
Other users found the fan’s actions wildly offensive. While I don’t think it was done with the intention of trying to catch Johnson’s eye, I do see how it isn’t very respectful to his wife and two daughters. Also, given how many love songs Johnson writes about his wife, I wouldn’t even try to pull a stunt like this. On the other hand, Johnson didn’t seem too offended, and it’s kinda par for the course when you’re a superstar like CoJo. He probably has no idea who even threw it…

Not to mention, Brandy gives me momma bear vibes, and I would not want to cross that woman. She might seem sweet, but I bet she would mess up a girl who tried to come after her husband. But let’s face it, Cody Johnson only has eyes for that woman and that woman.
