Designers in Montana had every winter weather and aesthetic concern in mind when they brought to life this 900-fill goose down WINDSTOPPER jacket that brings together timeless fashion and advanced material technology.
What are those two material technologies, you might be asking? A partnership with Allied Feather + Down integrates ExpeDRY™ technology -permanently bonding non-toxic gold particles to 900-fill down clusters to actively manage humidity within the insulation. To address the classic down jacket weakness of wind protection, SITKA STUDIO worked with GORE-TEX Labs to integrate their new ePE WINDSTOPPER laminate directly behind a matte black Japanese ripstop face fabric.

Brad Christian, SITKA STUDIO’s Creative Director, believes they’ve truly created a revolutionary jacket that perfectly combats all of the nagging (and beautiful) things that come with the winter season:

For our first design, we set out to create a bomber everyday jacket that mashes up SITKA’s advanced material science with a refined aesthetic that performs whether you’re stomping down snow-covered streets for a well-earned whiskey or waiting out the northern lights on the edge of nowhere.”
