CJ Gardner-Johnson Trolls Taylor Swift Fans With A “Swifties Can LIX My Balls” Shirt During Philadelphia Eagles Super Bowl Parade

Things are heating up in the war between Swifties and CJ Gardner-Johnson.

The Philadelphia Eagles safety first drew the attention of Taylor Swift fans after the team defeated the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX (that part’s important later) on Sunday.

Instead of celebrating his team’s win, CJ Gardner-Johnson instead decided to…troll Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift. On his Instagram story, the Eagles player shared a photo of Kelce with the caption “Should’ve stayed with that thick s****,” referencing Kelce’s ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole.

The tight end and his ex-girlfriend began dating in 2017 before breaking up in 2022, about a year before he began dating Swift. But Kayla also happened to be at the Super Bowl, and posted an Instagram story from the field celebrating the Eagles win…not really relevant to the story, but petty nonetheless.

Anyway, of course that comment upset the Swifties (even if some of them were calling on Taylor to dump Travis for saying that it was an honor to have President Donald Trump at the game). And they then began leaving fake reviews online for his mother’s restaurant called King’s Grill in Rockledge, Florida, giving it one star and also some commenting on “bad service” for a place they’ve clearly never been.

Oh, and somebody also reported the business to ICE.

Unhinged.

But Gardner-Johnson decided to fire back at the Swifties once again. The Philadelphia Eagles are hosting their Super Bowl today in the City of Brotherly Love, and it looks like the Eagles safety got a hoodie made especially for the occassion:

In case you can’t read that, it says “Swifties can LIX my balls.” Remember when I said that it was Super Bowl LIX? Honestly, props for creativity…

Of course there’s been a lot of talk since the Super Bowl surrounding the reception that Swift received from the crowd in the Superdome. During the game, video quickly went viral of the crowd booing the pop superstar, which led to a lot of discussions from talking heads blaming misogyny and football fans who are “threatened” by Taylor Swift and all kinds of other nonsense.

(Hint: It was because the crowd was mostly Eagles fans and she was there supporting the Chiefs. The Eagles fans booed every Chiefs fan on the big screen. Football fans would boo their own grandmother if she was there supporting the other team. It’s simply not that deep).

President Donald Trump, who was also at the game, even shared videos of Swift getting booed, commenting that she was the only person who had a worse night than the Chiefs. But other members of the Eagles, like running back Saquon Barkley, have embraced Swift in recent days, complimenting her for the attention that she’s brought to the game of football and for supporting her man during the game.

But it’s clear that there’s still some “bad blood” (sorry, I had to) between Swifties and CJ Gardner-Johnson. And he went so far as to get a custom hoodie made up just to troll them at his Super Bowl parade.

If nothing else, you’ve got to respect the pettiness.
