These people need serious help.
I know Swifties are kind of an easy target to make fun of, but I’ve never seen a group of people who are so obsessed with a celebrity…and I mean to a pretty unhealthy degree. Like, these people genuinely think Taylor Swift is their best friend. Meanwhile she has no idea they exist because her security won’t let them anywhere near her and her billions of dollars. It’s insane.
Right now, Taylor is at Arrowhead Stadium to watch her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, take on the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship Game for the opportunity to play in their third straight Super Bowl.
Of course outside of Chiefs fans, pretty much everybody else is cheering for the Bills just because they’re sick of Kansas City at this point. They’re two-time defending champs, they’ve lost one game this season, and pretty much everybody thinks the NFL is forcing them down our throats with some of the suspect calls from the refs that go against their opponents.
And there’s no doubt the NFL would love to have Swift at the Super Bowl again this year, because it’s going to bring even more attention to the big game.
You’d think that Swifties would be cheering for the Chiefs today too. They’d get to see Taylor at the Super Bowl, right? And wouldn’t their hero want her boyfriend to win another championship?
Well apparently there are some Swifties who are actually cheering for the Chiefs to lose – and their reasoning is…pretty crazy.
According to the Swifties who are pulling for the Bills, they want the Chiefs to lose so that Travis Kelce can attend the Grammy Awards with Taylor Swift next weekend.
Yes, really.
The Grammy Awards will take place on Sunday, February 2, a week before the Super Bowl is held on February 9. But of course, if the Chiefs are in New Orleans for the Super Bowl, Kelce wouldn’t be able to attend the Grammy Awards with his girl.
Seems a little selfish of these Swifties, no?
Swift is nominated for six Grammy Awards, including Album of the Year, so there’s no doubt she’ll be in attendance. But because of his football schedule, Kelce has yet to be able to attend an awards show with his superstar girlfriend, and some of her fans are really hoping that he’ll be free to walk the red carpet in Los Angeles next weekend and not preparing for a Super Bowl:
Okay here’s my random prediction:
If the chiefs lose on Sunday, Tay and Travis will make their red carpet debut at the Grammys.
If the chiefs win on Sunday, no Trav appearance at the Grammys but we get another Tay Super Bowl.
So kind of a win win either way for Swifties

The Chiefs are currently leading the Bills in the second quarter, so the Swifties are going to have to hope for a comeback if they want to see Kelce on the red carpet.
And while I’m sure Kelce would love to be with Taylor at the Grammy Awards, he would probably rather make it to a third straight Super Bowl. There’s been a lot of chatter about him possibly hanging it up after this season, and it would be a lot easier to make the decision to retire after winning a Super Bowl rather than coming up two games short.
