The Internet Can’t Believe How Tall Barron Trump Is As He Towers Over Everybody At The Inauguration

Happy Inauguration Day.

Today, the 47th President of the United States is being sworn into office. The nation has spoken, and Donald Trump will be reinstated in the Oval Office, making him the 45th and 47th President, only the second president ever to serve two non-consecutive terms.

Trump supporters from all over have flown to Washington, D.C., to celebrate Trump’s return to office.

While Donald J. Trump and J.D. Vance are the main focus of today’s ceremonies, as the power is transferred from Biden and Harris to our nation’s new leaders, the internet is focused on one of Trump’s family members. Of course, all of Trump’s children and their spouses are in attendance during this monumental moment, including his youngest, Barron Trump.

Much has changed for Trump’s youngest since his last presidency, as Barron is now a full-blown adult. Since previously living in the White House, Barron graduated from Oxbridge Academy in West Palm Beach, Florida, and is now a student at New York University. Although Barron was never hidden from the limelight, the public is mildly stunned to see a fully grown 18-year-old at the inauguration compared to the 10-year-old at his father’s first inauguration.

As Barron walked into the United States Capitol Rotunda, the internet was stunned to see how he towers over his other siblings and extended family members. Barron does have a height advantage in the family. Even standing by his mother and First Lady, Melania Trump, who stands at 5′ 11″ without heels, he towers over her.

Standing at 6’9″, his height commands the room, and because of that, social media reacts to the man who appears on our TV screens. Social media also sounds off, and because of the way Barron Trump stands behind his father’s chair, which is positioned slightly behind the podium, it feels like we are looking at a future leader of our nation.

While that is just an opinion, it would make an impressive story if Barron were to one day follow in his father’s footsteps and serve our nation. Barron has shown political interest, appearing at some of his father’s rallies during his campaign trail. It was also reported that Barron was the voice behind Trump’s campaign strategy to hit the podcast circuit, including an appearance on the world’s top podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience. That strategy proved to be brilliant as his father would go on to win in a landslide victory over Kamala Harris.

Barron’s height might also shock viewers, as his last viral moment was when he was six. In 2024, a clip of a young Barron talking about how he likes his suitcase went viral on social media. The statement was not the reason the clip went viral, but rather his pronunciation.

A clip from CNN, filmed for Larry King Live in 2010, shows Barron with his parents in Trump Tower. Instead of having a thick New York accent like his father, he carried the same dialect as his Slovenian mother, Melania, which shocked the internet.

While Barron might have grown out of this accent, when this clip went viral, the internet realized they hadn’t heard him speak as an adult.

Barron sure had grown up since this clip.
