Calling out everybody around Zach too.
Barstool Sports personality Brianna Chickenfry has been making waves with her explosive allegations against her now ex-boyfriend, country superstar Zach Bryan. The two broke up last month after over a year of dating, and it’s gotten messy as Brianna has come forward with her allegations of emotional abuse during their time together.
Among the stories she told on last week’s episode of her BFFs podcast, Brianna claimed that Zach not only got mad at her for the dress she chose to wear to the Golden Globe Awards, but once even got mad that she was singing a Morgan Wallen song in their house.
Brianna also said that Zach had smashed her phone in a rage, and offered her $12 million to sign an NDA to keep her from speaking about their relationship after they split.
Throughout the breakup, Brianna has had plenty of support from her co-workers and podcast co-hosts, Josh Richards and Barstool founder and president Dave Portnoy. The duo released a Zach Bryan diss track called “Smallest Man” that quickly went viral, even after being taken down due to copyright claims from Zach’s label, Warner Music Group.
But now, Brianna is calling out Zach’s team for enabling his bad behavior.
On the most recent episode of BFFs, she had some harsh words for those who work for Zach:
“Spineless pussies. Spineless pussies. Everyone that works for him is a spineless pussy. Hi, I know you’re watching. You watch everything that I do.
I have from the get-go tried to tell them this. I’m the only one that ever stood up to Zach. I’m the only one that was ever like, we need to fix these things. They’re ‘yes men’ because they get paid.”
Brianna also claims that she told a certain member of Zach’s team that they “have to live with” what they’re doing and who they’re protecting. (The name was bleeped out, though I’m almost positive I can guess who she’s talking about).
Later in the episode, she again called out those around Zach who she says are enabling his bad behavior:
“A lot of that team has seen shit he did to me firsthand too. And I’m not talking like little stuff. Firsthand. If he could do this stuff that I talk about in front of people, just imagine what it was like behind a fucking closed door.
So there’s a lot of people that saw shit, and it breaks my heart and it makes me sick that so many people are just scared of him. Everyone in his life is just scared of him. Scared to stand up to him. They’re all ‘yes men.’ They all get paid by him.”
Of course Zach hasn’t spoken up about Brianna’s claims, though he seems to be taking the “just ignore it and hope it goes away” approach as he continues to post on his Instagram story and release new music.
In fact, he even dropped a new song last week at the same time as Brianna’s podcast dropped – which everybody obviously speculated was his way of taking attention off of her side of the story. (And compared to him dropping new music on the same date as his friends like Charles Wesley Godwin and JR Carroll).
Regardless, it seems that it’s not just Zach that Brianna has a problem with: It’s everybody on his team who she feels is enabling him.
