That man does not miss a beat.

It’s inevitable as a touring musician for embarrassing things to happen to you on stage. Whether it be technical difficulties, forgotten words, or wardrobe malfunctions, there is a laundry list of things that can go wrong on stage. But, most artists would agree that nothing is more humbling than taking a tumble while on stage. It’s happened to Ernest, Darius Rucker, Hudson Westbrook, and many others, and at a recent show, Ella Langley took her first onstage fall.

After a show in Texas, Langley took to social media to share that she did, in fact, bust her a** on stage. However, she was not the only victim of the fall. She also took her guitar player down with her.

“Last night, I fell down for the first time in my career, and I also brought my guitar player down with me because I could not fall down by myself. So, if you have a video of it, please let me see it. I wanna see it.”

Ask, and you shall receive. Shortly after, video footage surfaced of the fall from someone right in front of the stage, and she was not kidding when she said she took her guitar player down with him.

It appears as though Langley stepped back into some crack on the stage. What a horrible design flaw if you ask me, but then again, I’m just a writer. As Langley’s foot appeared to have gone through the crack, she reached for something close to her to try and steady her balance, and the closest thing to her was her guitar player. But as he is dialed in on nailing his chords, his balance is easily thrown off, and he goes down alongside Langley, falling back over what looks like an onstage monitor.

After she falls, she laughs it off into the microphone and quickly returns to singing the song’s lyrics. But what is more impressive is that as her guitar player makes his downward fall to the ground, he does not miss a single chord of the song. Before Langley can even process what is happening, he’s got his hands back on the neck of his guitar, leading the band, laughing at the moment, too.

“Damn, didn’t mean to do you dirty like that, Ben Flanders.”

Langley captioned the video.

You will never forget your first stage fall, and I’m sure Ella Langley’s band will have a ball for the foreseeable future, cracking jokes about how she brought down her guitar player with her.

Hey, at least she laughed it off and kept singing…
