And there it is.
Joe Rogan has played a major role in this presidential election, interviewing political figures on both sides of the aisle leading up to election day tomorrow.
His Joe Rogan Experience podcast has featured interviews with Robert F. Kennedy Jr., former Democrat Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, VP candidate JD Vance, Democrat Senator John Fetterman from Pennsylvania, and many more.
Of course none of those interviews have been bigger than his podcast with former President Donald Trump, a 3-hour interview that touched on everything from nuclear power and computer chips to immigration and the UFC.
There was a lot of talk over whether Trump’s opponent, Kamala Harris, would also appear on the massively popular Joe Rogan Experience podcast ahead of election day. But it seems like that possibility disappeared when Rogan refused to meet the demands set out by the Harris campaign, including limiting the interview to an hour and Rogan traveling to Kamala to do the interview instead of holding it in his Austin, Texas studio.
Rogan said that he offered Harris the same opportunity that he offered Trump, and even offered to work around her schedule, but ultimately they weren’t able to reach an agreement and Harris never appeared on the podcast.
Meanwhile, Rogan’s episode with Trump has racked up 45 million views on YouTube alone, and who knows how many more on platforms like Spotify and Apple Podcasts, meaning it will no doubt be one of the most listened to interviews of the entire election cycle.
During his appearance on the podcast, Trump took some time to encourage Rogan to endorse his presidential campaign:
“You should do the same thing Joe, because you can not be voting for Kamala. You’re not a Kamala person, I know you. I’ve watched you.”
Donald Trump tells Joe Rogan to endorse him:
“You’re not a Kamala person, you’re a Khabib person.” 😭😭😭

And now, the night before the election, Rogan has done just that.
Earlier today, Rogan released an episode of his podcast featuring an interview with Elon Musk, who has been on the campaign trail with Trump and been one of the GOP nominee’s most outspoken supporters.
The host then followed it up by crediting Elon with making the case for Trump and offering his own endorsement:
“The great and powerful Elon Musk.
If it wasn’t for him we’d be fucked. He makes what I think is the most compelling case for Trump you’ll hear, and I agree with him every step of the way.
For the record, yes, that’s an endorsement of Trump.
Enjoy the podcast”

The endorsement is obviously an important one, with Rogan having a massive audience and the most listened-to podcast in the world. His audience is also mostly male, which is the demographic that Harris has seemed to struggle with throughout the campaign.
Of course with the endorsement coming the night before the election, it remains to be seen whether it makes a difference or encourages anyone to show up to vote for Trump. But you gotta think it’s an endorsement that the Trump campaign is happy to have, no matter when it comes.
