Luke Combs adding yet another impressive accolade to his country music career.
The Asheville, North Carolina native made himself right at home in Nashville, Tennessee when he started his country music career a little over a decade ago. Combs knew he wanted to make a living making country music, and I doubt his dreams ever got this far. Now he’ll live forever as a part of downtown Nashville’s Music City Walk of Fame.
Combs was surprised with the news at his very own Luke Combs Bootleggers Bonfire Festival, which takes places in Miramar Beach, Florida:
“10 years ago, you moved to Nashville without a record deal, without a publisher, with some songs and a dream. Can you please turn around and face this screen? Congratulations Luke Combs. 10 years in and you are now on the Music City Walk of Fame.”

The Music City Walk of Fame – which is located just across the street from the Country Music Hall of Fame – will add some other noteworthy artists and names to the Walk of Fame along with Luke Combs. On October 30, the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp will also add Jimmy Buffett (R.I.P.), The Fairfield Four, and longtime Grand Ole Opry host Bill Cody.
Deana Ivey, the President and CEO of the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp, had this to say about adding Luke Combs to the historic Walk of Fame that features other iconic country stars such as Johnny Cash, Clint Black, Patsy Cline, Dolly Parton, and Hank Williams, among others:
“Luke’s stellar career, marked by chart-topping hits and a deep connection to his fans, has made him one of country music’s brightest stars and the perfect addition to this prestigious group of honorees.”
We surprised @lukecombs at The Bootleggers Bonfire to invite him to join the #MusicCityWalkOfFame‘s new list of inductees, alongside @jimmybuffett, The Fairfield Four, Colin Reed, and @BillCodyWSM on October 30th, 2024! 🎶https://t.co/bTxf1qq949 pic.twitter.com/fT3iqprkvl
