Brian Kelley Cancels UK Tour Dates Just Days After Release Of New Song “Make America Great Again”

Gotta keep those concert dollars right here in the good ol’ USA.

Of course that’s probably not the reason why, but it appears that former Florida Georgia Line member Brian Kelley’s tour dates in the UK have been canceled without explanation just weeks after they were announced.

A few weeks ago, Kelley announced that he would be heading across the pond and playing five shows as part of his “UK Acres” tour in November.

But as reported by American Songwriter, it appears that all of the shows are already off, and now show that they have been canceled on Ticketmaster.

The cancellations come just days after Kelly released his new Donald Trump-supporting anthem, “Make America Great Again.”

And look, politics aside, the song’s not great (no pun intended). It kinda sounds like a parody song that somebody would write trying to make fun of conservatives, although we know that Kelley is a supporter of the former president after he had a public spat with his former FGL bandmate Tyler Hubbard during the 2020 election.

But there’s been no indication so far that politics played any role in the UK tour dates being canceled – though fans are now asking questions about what the deal is on Kelley’s Instagram.

The shows went on sale back on July 5, so chances are they just weren’t selling well and they decided to pull the plug on the entire tour, although in a statement to Holler his team blamed “unforeseen scheduling conflicts.” (Seems like his team is the one that makes the schedule, so they should have foreseen the conflicts, but hey, what do I know).

Maybe he just wants to “Make America Great Again” instead of spending his time in other countries.
