Shania Twain is undoubtedly one of the most iconic names when you think of ’90s country.
In recent years, Twain has been undergoing a rebranding, testing out new clothes, hair colors, and an overall new vibe. While some people have loved it, other outfit choices have sometimes left fans tilting their heads like confused dogs. Earlier this summer, some country music fans even went as far as to say that she was unrecognizable with her appearance.
However, she is letting what negative fans say go in one ear and out the other, and she continues to rock what she wishes on stage, even if it is a skimpy outfit. I have to give her props for being that confident at 58. I’m a spry 25, and I don’t even think I have the confidence to walk out on stage in half the get-up she does.
Half might be a stretch because there isn’t much covering her.
At a recent show, Twain walked out in a black, sequined one-piece lingerie-inspired outfit. The mesh-paneled suit does not leave much to the imagination, although she covered up a little more of herself with an orange puffer jacket. Twain must have felt the eyes on her when she walked out on stage because she was quick to make a joke about her outfit. Hey, if you can’t beat them, join them.
“Now, I was a little bit rushed before the show. So, I didn’t quite get all my clothes on, so I’m still in my underwear.”
She immediately bursts out into laughter. That is one way to address the elephant in the room. Whatever you may say about Shania’s new look, no one can deny that she owns everything she does.
