New Koe Wetzel is coming SOON.

The Texas rocker just announced a new song called “9 Lives (Black Cat)” will be on streaming services everywhere this Friday, April 12th:

“‘9 Lives (Black Cat)’ out This Friday!”

He previously teased the song on Instagram, which finds Koe singing about how he feels like a cat with nine lives, and he uses that to his advantage, taking chances and rolling the dice more than most people would:

“I’ve got a nine lives state of mind
Betting it all with a roll of the dice
People seem to lose their luck when I come around

I’ve got a 12 pack two dime bags
Flatlined twice just to come right back
God blessed me
The first eight didn’t count
Keep on trying our best to put the black cat down”

I love the production already, and it definitely has a little bit of twang and interesting melody that should make for another solid release. Check it out:

As Koe continues put out new songs, we’re seemingly getting closer to the announcement of a new album. Koe also recently released a single called “Damn Near Normal,” which is the first official new song he’s put out since his 2022 Hell Paso album.

In addition, he just announced his international Damn Near Normal tour, which is slated to kick off on July 27th at Cynthia Woods Pavilion in The Woodlands, Texas and run through November ending overseas in Copenhagen, Denmark.
