“Take me to Texas…”

George Strait was just teasing you when he said that he wasn’t going to have a Texas stop. He was getting ready for a Texas-sized lineup to perform this year. Yesterday, The King posted a video on Instagram trolling fans who were leaving hate comments for not having a Texas date on his recent tour schedule. While a few had caught onto what he was gearing up to announce, others were just reveling in the moment that he had jokes on his sleeve.

George Strait just took to social media to clear up the confusion, and yes, the two thumbs-ups hint that he was headed to Aggieland.

On June 15th, George Strait, Parker McCollum, and Catie Offerman will fill College Station’s Kyle Field. The lineup, which highlights some of Texas’ best, highlights the motto that everything is bigger in Texas.

“All roads lead to College Station. TEXAS, George will play the FIRST EVER concert at Kyle Field on June 15. Joining him are fellow Texans Parker McCollum and Catie Offerman. This will be the one and only show in Texas this year. Tickets on sale Thursday, March 28 at 10 AM CT.

Sign up now for early access at the link in the bio.”

Although Kyle Field can seat an astonishing 100,000 people, I feel these tickets are going to FLY. Given this is his only Texas show of the year, Strait fans will be coming from near and far to see the King hit this MEGA stage.

Set those alarms for March 28th at 10 AM CST.
