Kacey Musgraves is coming to a city, and a country, near you.

In support of her fourth major label studio album Deeper Well, Kacey just announced an extensive world tour that kicks off at the end of April in Dublin, Ireland, and runs through December ending with two shows in Nashville, Tennessee.

It’s the first big tour the Texas native has done in two-plus years, and with so much new music coming out soon, will be unlike any show she’s done before:

In addition to the Deeper Well world tour announcement, Kacey dropped the second single from her aforementioned, forthcoming album this morning, a song called “Too Good to be True.”

Written by Kacey along with producers Daniel Tashian and Ian Fitchuk, as well as Anna Nalick, it finds her wanting to fully jump into a new relationship but being scared to open up and give a part of herself that was so closed off from a prior romance.

In terms of the production, it definitely has touches of her Grammy-winning Golden Hour with light pop synths in the chorus, but overall, is pretty straightforward with a prominent acoustic guitar. While this is definitely a pretty and simple song that I like, I do think “Deeper Well,” the title track, is still the stronger release from the album thus far.

I’m so excited to hear the full, 14-song tracklist, and Deeper Well will be out everywhere on March 15th. It was produced by Kacey alongside Daniel Tashian and Ian Fitchuk and recorded at Electric Lady studio in New York City.
