For the first time in, well, forever, it’s a great time to be a Detroit Lions fan.

After being a bottom tier NFL franchise for more than 30 years, the Lions have put together a great season, winning their first playoff game in 32 years on Sunday night after they defeated the Los Angeles Rams 24-23.

Third year head coach Dan Campbell has truly put something special together in Detroit, as they’ve improved each season since Campbell’s first year in 2021.

On top of that, quarterback Jared Goff has found a resurgence in his career as well. After struggling for a handful of seasons for the Rams, Goff was traded to the Lions, and has been nothing short of impressive during his time in Detroit.

But speaking of Goff, the QB sat down to talk about the upcoming playoff game against the Buccaneers on Sunday. And during that conversation, he revealed which celebrity he hopes makes an appearance at the game…

And his celebrity of choice was nothing short of incredible.

Goff said he wants none other than Michigan’s own Kid Rock to make an appearance on Sunday:

“I think the only guy, I don’t know if I’ve seen him at a game yet, would be Kid Rock. That would be pretty fun. I think the crowd would enjoy that.”

Of course, Bob Ritchie, or Mr. Rock, if you will, was born in Romeo, Michigan, and first made a name for himself in the Detroit hip-hop scene.

However, judging by the comments, it appears that Detroit fans don’t necessarily love the fact that Goff wants Kid Rock to come to the game…

But politics aside, I think I’d do anything for Kid Rock to perform “Bawitdaba” at halftime at the game:
