Evan Felker is stepping out for some solo shows.

The historic Mercury Lounge in Tulsa, Oklahoma, just announced a string of solo shows with the Turnpike Troubadours frontman. For four Thursdays kicking off at the end of January, Felker will be gracing the stage of the dive bar and music venue.

“We are very excited to announce that Evan Felker of the Turnpike Troubadours will be coming to Mercury Lounge for four days throughout January and February! Head over to mercuryloungetulsa.com and grab a ticket before they’re gone!”

While everyone knows Evan’s work as the frontman for Turnpike Troubadours, he has stepped out and done a little experimentation as a solo artist before. A song titled “Whiskey In Your Water” was cut as a part of Bruce Robison’s The Next Waltz Vol. 2. in 2019. He also recorded a song called “Bottoms Up,” back in 2013 for an album titled Sounds from the Alley, Vol. II, a compilation album featuring some of the best artists based out of Oklahoma at the time. That song was re-recorded as “East Side Love Song (Bottoms Up)” for the latest Turnpike album, A Cat In The Rain.

I can only imagine how quickly these tickets are going to sell out, if not already, so be sure to snag them if you can.

“Tickets are will-call, limited to 2 per person, and nontransferable. A valid Photo ID matching the original purchaser is required. Any individuals attempting to purchase more than 2 tickets or sell them in a secondary market will have their tickets voided and refunded.”

The intimate stage of the venue will lead to four very special shows.
