Cody Jinks Announces 2024 ‘Change The Game Tour’ Featuring Ward Davis, The Steel Woods, Blackberry Smoke & More

Cody Jinks Red Rocks
Cody Jinks

One of the biggest road warriors in the business is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon. On the heels of announcing his next studio album, Change The Game, the great Cody Jinks has also announced a massive 2024 tour to go along with it.

In addition to the previously announced co-headlining tour with Turnpike Troubadours, as well as the opening slot with the Luke Combs tour, Cody will traveling across the country, beginning next February. Kicking off on February 9th in Connecticut, Cody will hit the road with support from Blackberry Smoke, Doc Oliver, The Steel Woods, Erin Viancourt, Ward Davis, The Cadillac 3 and Calder Allen.

And the best part? This is all he has planed SO FAR…

For an artist whose built a career on authenticity, Jinks calls his upcoming record, set to drop on March 22nd, the most honest thing he’s ever done.

“This is the most open and honest record I’ve ever recorded, I laid everything out.”

Featuring the lead single “Outlaws & Mustangs,” as well as the thoughtful “Sober Thing” where Jinks address his path to sobriety, this album is primed to be one of the best of Jinks’ career (in a long line of great albums).

Of new single “Sober Thing,” he says:

“I wrote ‘Sober Thing’ right after we finished the ‘Mercy’ album. I was giving up a twenty plus year affair with whiskey and every word of that song is true. I don’t remember writing some of my biggest songs but I damn sure remember writing that one.”

The project, which was produced by Ryan Hewitt and Jinks’ longtime bassist, Joshua Thompson, will also feature a new version of Faith No More’s “Take This Bottle,” with special guest Pearl Aday.
