Duck hunting made easy.

You never really know what kind of wildlife you’re going to run into down in Louisiana. Of course it’s mostly alligators that you have to watch out for, along with the pesky nutria rats that are such a nuisance that the state will actually pay you to kill them.

It’s not quite duck season in Baton Rouge yet, but one LSU fan had them falling in his lap during this weekend’s game versus Florida at Tiger Stadium.

Apparently the bird flew into the stadium during the game and couldn’t find his way out, as video showed him flying all around trying to make his way back to where he belonged.

But when he made his way into this guy’s section, an LSU fan managed to catch the duck and give it a toss in the right direction.

Luckily the duck did eventually manage to make its way out of the stadium as fans cheered him on.

“So in Death Valley last night a duck decided to fly in the stadium and was having trouble finding a way out. In desperation, it ended up flying into my section and this legend decided to hold it for a second and then let it go. The duck did eventually find its way out of the stadium though!”

It was just one of many wild moments in a game that saw LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels make his case for the Heisman with over 600 total yards, including 372 passing yards and 234 yards rushing. That included an 85-yard run, the longest by an LSU quarterback in program history.

Brian Kelly’s LSU Tigers would go on to beat the Florida Gators 52-35. And the LSU duck would make it back into the wild, hoping to make it through another duck season here in a few days.

Honestly though, he’s lucky that he didn’t fly into the wrong hands during the game. An awful lot of people down there in Cajun country would have loved to have him for dinner.
