Big news from G.

Garth Brooks just stopped by the Thursday Night Football pregame show to chat with the crew and dropped some news about the concert he said he would be playing at the grand opening of his bar in downtown Nashville this Black Friday.

Officially called the Friends In Low Places Bar & Honky-Tonk, fans can win tickets by listening to his new radio station on THE BIG 615 on TuneIn for a chance to attend in person, but it was just revealed tonight that fans can watch this performance if they’re aren’t able to score tickets (or are unwilling to sit through whatever they’re going to play on Garth’s radio station…)

Garth’s set, live from his bar, will be streamed on Amazon Prime after the first ever NFL game on Black Friday, featuring the Dolphins and Jets.

Garth, whose music is notably available only on Amazon Music, has been trying to do a career revival of sorts recently, having announced a new album titled Time Traveler that will be coming out on November 7th, available only at Bass Pro Shops, because Garth can just never do something normal…

He’s releasing the first single from the project this Monday, titled “Rodeo Man,” which will also feature Ronnie Dunn on the track.

Whether this actually brings Garth back into mainstream relevance is yet to be seen, but undoubtedly he’s doing his best. (Although he could actually, you know, put his music on Spotify if he actually wants people to hear it…)

But judging by some fan’s reactions to Garth making this Thursday Night Football appearance, safe to say it’s going to be a mixed bag at best. Unfortunately, he can’t turn off these comments

Rough words from the people, but hey, Garth is always going to do Garth things…
