Here’s some good news for Kenny Chesney fans, or at least some news of good news that’s most likely to come…
Looks like Chesney has something up his sleeve for an upcoming tour that could feature the likes of Megan Moroney, Zac Brown Band, and Uncle Kracker. The country music artist posted a mysterious video to his Instagram account without a caption, though one can gather what Chesney was trying to say with the post.
In the clip, a pair of chairs overlooking a beautiful scene of the ocean at sunset quickly cycle through different backdrops, and each time a new setting pops up, a new song goes along with it. The first song to play is Chesney and Uncle Cracker’s “When The Sun Goes Down,” followed by “Toes” by Zac Brown Band, then moving to Megan Moroney’s “She Ain’t Pretty,” and wrapping up with Uncle Kracker’s hit “Smile.”

Without a lot to go off of, but also basing a guess off of the video, it seems likely that a 2024 Kenny Chesney tour with special, high-profile acts as openers is soon to be announced.
The “She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy” singer has yet to give any other indication of what the post might mean, but all of the fans in the comments of teaser video he dropped seem to have it figured out:

“Every new teaser makes me lose a little more sleep waiting for the tour announcement & I couldn’t be happier.”
“Hoping this is the line up for a new tour.”
“Can you please just drop the dates so I know where I’m spending all of my money this year?”

Sheesh, that last commenter needs to take a breather. I think it’s pretty obvious “WHAT’S HAPPENING” Instagram user. Chesney is trying to announce some future summer vibes as we head into winter.
We’ll have to stay tuned for official word on the tour, but you could go ahead and call this one the “unofficial” announcement…
