Dolly Parton is headed to Jerry World. The Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving Day game has become quite the event over the years, promising an exciting halftime performance each year (minus the year they had Kane Brown do it).

This year, they are bringing in one of music’s most iconic faces, Dolly Parton. The eleven-time Grammy Award-winning artist will bring her Tennessee charm to AT&T Stadium on November 23rd.

“Get ready to watch Dolly Parton rock the Red Kettle Kickoff halftime show this Thanksgiving. Tune in to CBS Sports on November 23rd at 3:30 PM CST for a performance you won’t want to miss!”

After co-hosting the ACM Awards and hosting Dolly! All Access pop-up at The Star in Frisco, Texas, Dolly Parton will have left quite the mark on the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex by the end of the fall.

She revealed that her performance will feature songs “everybody knows” and give the halftime performance will take place shortly after the release of Dolly Parton’s highly anticipated rock album, Rockstar, we might see some fan favorites from the tracklist. With a star-studded feature list, Dolly might pull out all the stops, bringing some guests to the stage.

Hopefully, Parton will be singing “We Are The Champions/ We Will Rock You” as the Dallas Cowboys bring home a win.

Since 1997, the Dallas Cowboys have hosted extravagant halftime shows over the holiday game. Some of the greats that have performed in the past include country music icons like Randy Travis, Clint Black, Toby Keith, Luke Combs, and Carrie Underwood.

It’s about time Dolly Parton takes the stage and a big one for that. While many performances have graced Jerry World over the years, Dolly Parton might give Creed a run for their money on best halftime performance.

If you aren’t familiar with the 2001 iconic Creed halftime show… have you been living under a rock? Buckle up and enjoy.

Something about Texas sports and Creed goes hand in hand…
