Obstruction of Justice in Oklahoma is defined as:

“Any person who willfully delays or obstructs any public officer in the discharge or attempt to discharge any duty of his or her office, is guilty of a misdemeanor.”

The maximum punishment in the county jail is one year and/or a fine of $500.

No further information regarding the details or nature of his arrest are available at this time.

This comes on the heels of the release of his self-titled album a couple weeks ago, which debuted at #1 on the U.S. Billboard all-genre album chart, and had all 16 songs debut on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

His duet with Kacey Musgraves, “I Remember Everything,” also debuted at the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

He also announced his massive The Quittin’ Time Tour, featuring Turnpike Troubadours, Jason Isbell, Sierra Ferrell and more.
