You love to see it.

Zach Bryan and Kacey Musgraves both scored their very first Billboard Hot 100 #1 hit on the all-genre chart with their duet “I Remember Everything,” from Zach’s recently-released self-titled album, which also debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200 albums chart last week.

It marks the very first #1 hit for both artists on the Hot 100 chart and is officially the top song in the country out of every single genre of music:

It’s also the fourth country song of 2023 to reach the top spot, dethroning Oliver Anthony’s “Rich Men North of Richmond,” which spent 2 weeks at #1, and now falls to #6.

Luke Combs sets a new record for most weeks at #2 without reaching the top spot with his cover of Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car.”

I was obsessed with “I Remember Everything” from the very first listen when Zach Bryan came out, and it looks like I’m not the only one who loves it. It’s honestly even better than I hoped it would be, and how amazing is it when two of your favorite artists get together and deliver a song that’s this damn good? It makes being a fan of music so much fun.

The heartbreaking tune finds the narrators reminiscing on a past relationship and admitting that they remember every little moment and fleeting evening they spent together:

“Cold shoulder at closing time,
You were begging me to stay ’til the sun rose,
Strange words come out of a grown man’s mouth
When his mind’s broke

Pictures and passing time
You only smile like that when you’re drinking
Wish I didn’t but I do
Remember every moment from the night’s with you”

There’s something so forlorn and magical, yet heartbreaking about it, and I simply cannot get enough. I was hoping that I would be able to say I love it as much as I do, and I’m happy to report that I am, quite literally… obsessed.

And in a crazy turn of events, Kacey shared on Instagram that she actually had “full blown strep” when she recorded her vocals, which makes it all the more impressive because she really sounds perfect.

She added that only confirmed what she already knew about it, though: “This song is sick as f*ck.”

Amen to that…

“‘I Remember Everything’ – out now. Thank you, Zach Bryan for having me collab on this gorgeous song. I definitely pulled some of my own life into it.

Fun fact, y’all: I had full blown strep when I recorded this song but somehow I pushed through. So it’s confirmed: this song is sick as fuck.”

This pretty much sums it up perfectly…

Kacey’s pure and beautiful voice contrasts so beautifully with Zach’s more gruff, raw vocals, and this is by far and away one of my favorite singles released this year, and I don’t see how anyone else is going to top it.

I don’t know what they put in this song, but clearly it’s working on every single level, and I’m personally thrilled to see two of my favorite country artists reach the #1 spot together on such a kickass duet.

TURN IT UP…

Zach Bryan Announces 2024 ‘The Quittin’ Time Tour’ Featuring The Turnpike Troubadours, Jason Isbell & More

This is going to be one for the record books.

Zach Bryan announced his extensive 2024 The Quittin’ Time tour last week, which will kick off in March of next year in Chicago, Illinois and run though December ending in his home state of Oklahoma at Tulsa’s BOK Center.

And not only is it an insane run of dates, Zach is taking out some abolsute legends in the country music scene, having the Turnpike Troubadours and Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit open up some shows, in addition to other heavy hitters in The Middle East, Sheryl Crow, Sierra Ferrell, Matt Maeson, and Levi Turner rotating dates on others.

I mean, if Zach having Turnpike and Isbell open for him doesn’t mean he’s “made it,” I sure as shit don’t know what does…

Zach also just wrapped up his sold-out Burn, Burn, Burn tour, and of course, this new tour announcement comes on the heels of the release of Zach Bryan a little over a week ago.

The whole record was produced solely by Zach, is very raw and real in terms of the subject matter, and definitely feels very “him,” so to speak.

Fans can register for presale ticket access for this tour, which begins on September 6th here, and general on-sale begins September 8th.

Saying this will be the hottest ticket around next year feels like an understatement…
