The Righteous Gemstones is BACK.

According to Variety, season four is coming our way on HBO.

HBO says that the third season of the show is averaging 4.9 million viewers per episode, so needless to say the hype for season four is through the roof. Not to mention, we get to see the acting of Sturgill Simpson once again as militiaman Brother Marshall.

Incase you aren’t too familiar, the show follows the Gemstone family, who are famous televangelists… except, not they’re not exactly the “good Christian folk” they appear to be. Long story short… they’re dysfunctional scumbags… and it’s hilarious.

The series stars Danny McBride, Adam Devine, John Goodman, Edi Patterson, Cassidy Freeman, Tim Baltz, and more.

The description for season 3 reads:

“When the spoiled Gemstone children finally get their wish to take control of the Church, they discover leadership is harder than they imagined and that their extravagant lifestyle comes with a heavy price.”

Executive VP of HBO programming and head of HBO & Max comedy series Amy Gravitt said:

“Get ready for more of the hilarious adrenaline ride that is ‘The Righteous Gemstones.’

As this truly biblical season comes to a close on Sunday night, I am delighted to announce that we are picking up a fourth season.”

The season 3 finale airs this Sunday, July 30th on HBO.

Needless to say, I can’t wait.

But there’s one thing fans want to see in season 4…. Baby Billy’s Bible Bonkers:

And gimme more Brother Marshall while you’re at it:
