Jason Aldean canceled his concert in Hartford, Connecticut last night just 20 minutes in.
During a performance of “Crazy Town” at the Xfinity Theatre, a fan posted a video below where you can see him stop briefly and it looks like he’s just wiping off sweat, but a few seconds later, Jason runs completely off stage.
He didn’t give any sort of announcements or any other indication of what was wrong, but never returned to the stage and the show was called off shortly thereafter:
And after many fans began speculating online that it had something to do with the heat, where it was apparently very hot and humid the entire evening, the venue confirmed this morning that Jason suffered a heat stroke during the show.
They shared an update saying that his reps confirmed he had a medical emergency and is now doing well, adding that the concert will be rescheduled for a future date:
“Yesterday’s Jason Aldean show will be rescheduled for a future date. We appreciate your patience as we work on rescheduling a new date, as well as the outpouring of well wishes for Jason.
A rep has confirmed he is now doing well after experiencing heat stroke during last night’s performance. Please stay tuned to all social media channels for updates as they become available.”
And it also looks like there was pandemonium as fans tried to exit the venue, with no one directing traffic or anything of that nature as the concert ended so unexpectedly and even broke a fence to get to the parking lot:
