This feels like a long time comin’.

Gabe Lee is set to make his Grand Ole Opry debut on July 16th, just two days after the release of his forthcoming album Drink the River on July 14th.

Gabe is a fantastic independent artist and Nashville native, so of course, this feels like it will be an extra special night and dream come true for the hometown kid.

He calls it an “honor” to take the stage and step into that hollowed circle:

“Undoubtedly, growing up in Nashville, the Opry has forever been a stronghold of timeless country music tradition.

But even beyond the borders of music city, the Opry is the beacon of a dream, and apart from being a representation of any success or fame, it is more importantly a symbol of inclusion in the country music genre.

We are incredibly honored to be included in the lineup this July, and I mean to do my hometown of Nashville proud.”

He also shared the announcement in a post on Instagram:

“Just wow. What an honor folks. Phew! This hometown kid’s goin to the @opry.”

Gabe has released two singles from the album so far, “Drink The River” and “Even Jesus Got The Blues.”
