LET’S GO.

Morgan Wade announced this morning that her sophomore album titled Psychopath will be out everywhere on August 25th.

She teased that something was coming yesterday, and it’s been quite a while since she released her debut studio album Reckless in 2021, so in my very humble opinion, we were well overdue for a new project.

I can’t wait to hear every single song on this album, and Morgan shared a teaser of the title track on Instagram, which I’m already obsessed with and need to hear in its entirety.

And from what she shared about it on Instagram, it sounds like the material on the record is going to be pretty personal and true to who she is.

She shared that “it showcases where I am at this moment in time,” adding that “I have no choice but to be authentic”:

“Regardless of what people say about Psychopath, I’m proud because I feel like it showcases where I am at this moment in time. I have no choice but to be authentic.

And I have to feel what I feel. And right now, I’m really feeling the music. It’s been a long time coming, but I’m so excited to finally tell y’all that my next album is done!

‘Psychopath’ is the title of my sophomore project and it’s officially out August 25th.”

Morgan is one of the most talented young artists in the genre right now, with a very distinct voice and her own unique style, so make sure you mark this one on the calendar:

Morgan actually revealed during a performance at The Ryman last month that she had been working on a new record, and even debuted the first song from it with the great Ashley Monroe, which they performed alongside Morgan’s producer Sadler Vaden:

Morgan was also recently featured on EDM/pop producer Diplo’s Diplo Presents Thomas Wesley: Chapter 2 – Swamp Savant project on a song called “Never Die”:
