Channing Wilson Releases Live Performance Video Of “Crazy Over You” For Valentine’s Day

It’s officially Valentine’s Day, and for many it’s a beautiful time of the year to share your affection for your loved one.

But for many others, it’s stone cold depressing…

But whichever side of the spectrum you may fall on, Channing Wilson is here to help everybody get into the Valentine’s Day spirit.

The longtime songwriter and up and coming artist released a special new song and video for all the lovebirds and Debbie downers out there, titled “Crazy Over You.”

It’s just a beautiful acoustic driven song, as Wilson lists a number of lies, but once he gets to the chorus, he fesses up to his significant other that he’s not being honest, and at the end of the day, he’s “crazy over you.”

Ya gotta love a sweet, sappy country love song on Valentine’s Day.

It appears that Wilson has had this song in the arsenal, as there are live videos and live recordings of himself playing the song over the past few years.

However, this probably means that the song will be featured on his debut album, Dead Man, which is slated to drop on February 24th.

Wilson recently weighed in on the new project, and how he wants the emphasis of the album to focus on overcoming mental health struggles:

“Back in the Depression era, Jimmy Rogers was a big hit, and the reason why was because he sang all these sad songs that let people know they weren’t the only ones going through hard times.

There are so many people out there right now dealing with problems like mental illness, but we still don’t talk about it nearly as much as we should.

So, the one thing I hope for this record is that helps people realize that they’re not alone, that someone else feels the way they do. Because to me that’s the first step to feeling okay again.”

But in the meantime, give “Crazy Over You” a listen. You won’t regret it:
