Man oh man, talk about a hidden gem.
With all of this hype around Dierks Bentley’s 10th studio album, Gravel & Gold, that’s slated to drop February 24th, I found myself going down a Dierks rabbit hole, reminiscing on the Arizonan’s famed country music career.
With that being said, I think I may have discovered the greatest Dierks video of all time…
The year is 2014, mainstream country music radio is at its worst, with Florida Georgia Line, Dustin Lynch, and Chris Lane playing everywhere you look, but Dierks was at the top of his game with the release of his Riser album.
While Dierks was on tour that year, he played a show in Hershey, Pennsylvania. When it was time to sing “Drunk On A Plane,” it appears that he invited three fans to dress up and go on stage with him, with one dude dressed as a pilot, and two girls dressed as flight attendants.
At the beginning of the video, you can see both girls looking like they’re having the time of their lives in front of thousands of fans.
However, around the 1:20 mark, you can see the one girl start to feel it. She knows it’s coming…
I couldn’t imagine what was going on in her head at the moment. She was probably begging for the song to end so she could run backstage and puke her brains out.
Luckily enough, the song ends, and she thinks she’s out of the woods…
Until Dierks decides to sing one more chorus to the song, and bring them all out closer to the fans.
You can already see that she knows the inevitable is about to happen, and there’s nothing she can do to stop it. She just has to yack in front of thousands and come to terms that she’s going to be a meme the rest of her life.
Sure enough, she pukes right in front of Dierks, and all of the fans.
She quickly runs off stage in horror, but it’s too late. The damage is done.
We’ve all been there before. Whether it’s been at a concert, bar, or house party. But, for this unfortunate soul it had to happen in front of tons of people, and on stage with one of her favorite country artists.
